Goals and Objectives
As a result of this training, students will be able to:
• Identify components of quality school-age care that are operational in their own programs.
• Identify key organizations, resources, and research initiatives that have contributed to the development of standards of quality in the field of school-age care.
• Describe the School-Age Care Environment Rating Scale (SACERS) and how it can be used as a tool for assessing the quality of school-age programs.
