The Child Development Associate Credential is a national credential awarded to individuals who successfully complete 120 hours of training, review of two text books, development of a Professional Portfolio, participation in an Observation by a CDA Council Professional Development Specialist, and by passing the CDA Assessment at an approved PearsonVue location.
